WHAT’S YOUR ANSWER?? #IMWAITING K #PART5 #PROPHETIC

Jun 19, 2020

So, what is it? What’s your answer for the wilderness? What’s your plan? What are you going to say when the enemy starts whispering in your ear doubts, fears, insecurities, rejections, failures, hurt, pain, financial instability, loneliness, bitterness, unforgiveness, brokenness, etc.

What’s your answer? What do you or will you have to say?

I have been talking to you a lot about Jesus’s wilderness experience over the last few weeks. I want to show you one more thing. Check this out. I am using the same scriptures, but I want to highlight something:

Matthew 4 The Message (MSG)

1-3 Next Jesus was taken into the wild by the Spirit for the Test. The Devil was ready to give it. Jesus prepared for the Test by fasting forty days and forty nights. That left him, of course, in a state of extreme hunger, which the Devil took advantage of in the first test: “Since you are God’s Son, speak the word that will turn these stones into loaves of bread.”

Jesus answered by quoting Deuteronomy: “It takes more than bread to stay alive. It takes a steady stream of words from God’s mouth.”

Jesus had an answer for the devil. Do you have an answer for him when he begins to whisper “sweet nothings” in your ear? What will you say? How will you respond? When he starts reminding you of your problems, what will you do? No, seriously. I want to know.

You have to have an answer for the enemy. Give him what he DON’T want to hear—that’s the WORD OF GOD! Jesus had to let him know that it was going to take more than bread to win him. You got to let the enemy know that he can’t depress you this time! He can’t make you go back to foolishness! He can’t keep you in bondage anymore! This time you’re stronger than you have ever been! You’re wiser! You’re not going to let doubt, insecurity and fear win this time around! Not today devil!

You got to have an answer cause he’s coming for you. When he does, how will you respond? #Selah

Remember this…. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. You’re stronger than the enemy because of the Spirit of God that dwells within you. Let God help you with your response. Whatever you need, God has a Word to empower and equip you for your wilderness. Never forget that!
