Shine On

Have you ever noticed that the sun never apologizes for rising? It doesn't ask permission to shine, and it certainly doesn't dim its brightness because someone finds it uncomfortable.

Why? Because SHINING is what it was created to do!

So here's my question for you: When did you start apologizing for being who God created you to be?

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to shrink ourselves to make others comfortable. We downplay our accomplishments, hide our gifts, silence our voices, and second-guess our potential because we're afraid of being judged, rejected, or misunderstood.

But here's what I need you to understand: You cannot fully walk in your PURPOSE while constantly apologizing for your POTENTIAL!

Matthew 5:16 reminds us to let our light shine before others so that they may see our good works and glorify our Heavenly Father.

Your light was never meant to be hidden. It was designed to illuminate, inspire, influence, and make a difference!

And guess what? You don't have to DIM your light for somebody else's to SHINE! There's room for all of us to walk boldly in our God-given purpose.

Stop confusing humility with hiding. You can be humble AND confident. You can celebrate others AND celebrate yourself. You can walk in love AND refuse to make yourself smaller.

Here's something to think about: What if the very thing you're afraid to reveal is the very thing somebody else needs to see to find their way?

Your testimony could inspire someone's breakthrough. Your courage could awaken someone's confidence. Your obedience could become the example that encourages somebody else to take their next step.

So this week, I challenge you to stop apologizing for your growth, your gifts, your accomplishments, and the person you're becoming.

Be bold. Be confident. Be authentic. Be YOU!

Because the goal isn't to be the brightest person in the room. The goal is to make sure the room is BRIGHTER because YOU were in it!

And remember... LIGHT DOESN'T APOLOGIZE FOR SHINING. NEITHER SHOULD YOU!

Keep growing. Keep glowing. And whatever you do, KEEP SHINING! ✨
