Say What God Said

What do you do when what you see doesn’t look anything like what God said?

You keep believing. You keep praying. You keep looking. And most importantly—you keep agreeing with God.

Elijah gives us a powerful picture of what it means to move #FaithForward. God promised that rain was coming, and Elijah dared to speak about abundance while the atmosphere was still dry. Then he prayed. He sent his servant to look—and there was nothing.

But Elijah said, “Go again.”

Sometimes “nothing” is simply the space between promise and manifestation. Don’t allow what you don’t see yet to make you abandon what God has already said.

Eventually, Elijah’s servant saw a cloud the size of a man’s hand. It wasn’t the downpour Elijah was expecting, but it was evidence that something was changing. Elijah didn’t despise the small beginning. He recognized that small evidence can be the beginning of a BIG manifestation.

Maybe your cloud is small right now.

One conversation.
One opportunity.
One changed attitude.
One open door.
One small victory.

Celebrate it!

You don’t need the whole storm to know God is moving. Sometimes you just need enough faith to recognize the cloud.

So keep moving Faith Forward:

Know what God said.
Do what God said.
Say what God said.
Pray about what God said.
Look for manifestation.
Expect to see manifestation.
And get ready to RUN!

Elijah went from being bowed down in prayer to running under the supernatural hand of God.

And maybe that’s your word today: Don’t quit in the “nothing” season. Keep praying. Keep looking. Keep believing. Your “nothing” can become a small cloud, and your small cloud can become an abundance of rain.
