PUT THE “SUPER” ON YOUR NATURAL WHEN WALKING IN FAVOR

We all want it. We all need it. We all desire it. Supernatural favor is definitely a gift from God to us, but how in the world do we receive it? Well, I’m glad you asked! Today, I want to go over how you can receive just that!

1) Seek Wisdom

Proverbs 8:35 says, “For those who find me [wisdom] find life and receive favor from the LORD.”  Finding favor with the Lord keeps our lives and thoughts pure because we desire to please Him more than we desire to please ourselves. 

2) Declare Your Favor

Favor is not found by following a formula, and it is important to remember that we are not changed by what is in our head, but by what is in our heart. In Matthew 12:34, we are reminded that, “…out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.”  When we expect and believe for favor, it affects both our heart and our speech. As we decree favor and walk according to the ways of God, then doors of breakthrough, blessings and opportunity can’t help but open up for us!

3) Position Yourself

I’ve seen some Christians try to claim God’s favor while they are lazy, showing up late to work, procrastinators, bitter over some past event, or just simply not walking in purpose at all, but walking in their flesh. The Bible teaches that walking in the flesh will short-circuit God’s blessings (Gal 6:8).

4) Be a Kingdom Sower

The word tells us to give and it shall be given back unto us a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over shall man give unto our bosom (Luke 6:38). If you give blessings, then blessings will come back. If you give financially, then finances will come to you. It’s the law of sowing and reaping. So, if you want to be shown favor in any area of your life, then simply find something or somebody to sow some type of favor into and watch the favor of God hit you!

5) Be Righteous Not Disobedient

Psalm 5:12 says, “Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” One thing that I know and have learned over the years, as long as I am submitted and committed to the word of God, then favor and blessings have to fall upon my life. Stay focus on being in the right standing with God, and He’ll make sure His favor is in the right standing with you!

6) Be Humble

34 He has no use for conceited people, but shows favor to those who are humble.

To continue experiencing the favor of God, continue to walk in meekness and humility. Never get “beside yourself”. The word tells us that He (God) gives grace to the humble, but the pride he’ll bring to a low. You have to ask yourself if you want to go higher or be brought down to a low point in your life. #Selah

So, when it’s all said and done, we want to genuinely experience the SUPERNATURAL favor of God! At the same time, we have to WANT to do what we need to do so that God can manifest it in our lives!
