Grow Through It

No matter the storm, no matter the trial, no matter the test… God wouldn’t have allowed it unless he had a purpose behind it. In the midst of it all, remind yourself to not just go through it, but GROW through it.

One thing that I have learned over the years is that I need to ask God questions. If I want clarity, ask God. If I want understanding, ask God. God tells us in his word that his people perish for lack of knowledge. It’s ok to ask God why you’re in the situation you’re in if you don’t have a clue. It’s ok to ask God about relationships that failed or people that failed you, health failures, mental failures, and even friendship chaos.

Ask God questions so you can have a better understanding. In the end, know that it all had a purpose. Situations, issues, and circumstances all came not to kill you, but to make you stronger and wiser. God allowed it because you needed someone or something to push you toward your greatness. Why does it have to be so hard you may ask? Why couldn’t God have gotten this point across without you having all the frustrations, heartache, and pain? Why couldn’t the road be just a little bit easier?

If you don’t remember anything else, remember this:

1. Without pressure, there would be no diamond.
2. Without the crushing of the olive, there would be no oil.
3. Without the crucifixion of Jesus, there would be no salvation and complete healing and freedom for his children.

Jesus went through all of his sufferings so we could have a better life. There were times that he wanted the cup to pass from him. Why wouldn’t he? After all, he was walking as God but in a fleshly form. His flesh was the one that wanted the cup to pass, but his spirit knew that he had to go through it no matter how hard it seemed. That’s the same with you. I’m sure you want some of your cups to pass from you, but God needed you to go through it, so that you could grow through it, and he could release the greatness that’s screaming to come out of the inside of you. .You’re going through because God is ready to release greatness like never before in your life. Don’t knock the process that you’re in right now. Go through and see the sun shining once the storm is over.

Transition is here. The shifting is taking place. Are you ready? It’s your time to grow. Embrace it!
