DON’T GET EXPOSED! #HELOOKINGOK#PART4 #PROPHETIC

Jun 12, 2020

When in the wilderness, did you know that your weakness gets exposed! Yikes! You see, when you’re going through something, oftentimes it’s hard to hide that you’re angry, struggling, weak, financially barren, lonely, frustrated, etc. Yep, at some point, the Cover Girl comes off. At some point, the breaking happens. At some point…. You EXPLODE! Ouch!

When Jesus was in the wilderness, His weakness got exposed. We know that He is God in the flesh, but that’s just it. He’s God in the FLESH! The flesh is always weak, but the spirit is willing if you let it! Jesus’s weakness was His hunger. His weakness got exposed and the devil was ready for Him! We’ve been studying this same scripture for the past few weeks. I have been highlighting certain points. This week, I’m going to highlight the exposure of Jesus’s weakness:

Matthew 4 The Message (MSG)

1-3 Next Jesus was taken into the wild by the Spirit for the Test. The Devil was ready to give it. Jesus prepared for the Test by fasting forty days and forty nights. That left him, of course, in a state of extreme hunger, which the Devil took advantage of in the first test: “Since you are God’s Son, speak the word that will turn these stones into loaves of bread.”

The devil saw Jesus’s weakness. He can see yours as well. With that being said, how are you handling your weakness(es) during COVID-19? Are you overcoming your weakness(es) and not allowing your weakness(es) to overcome you? Are you focused on winning, or are you too stressed to even think about it? I’m talking about winning on all levels! I want to challenge you to evaluate what your weakness(es) are in your life. It doesn’t matter what area. Just figure out what they are. Once you acknowledge the area where you are weak, then you can come up with a game plan to get stronger in that area. Are you ready?Remember…. The wilderness ALWAYS exposes weaknesses. It did it for Jesus. It will do it for you. The trick was…with Jesus, He prepared Himself to win even when He was weak. Will you do the same thing? #Selah
