Dealing with Lack- The Hannah Anointing
May 22, 2026
Lack has a way of speaking loudly.
It whispers, “You don’t have enough.”
It shouts, “It’s not happening for you.”
It tries to convince you that your story will end where your struggle began.
But Hannah teaches us something different.
Her story didn’t start with abundance—it started with absence.
No child. No evidence. Constant provocation. Deep emotional pain.
Yet what looked like lack… was actually positioning.
Positioning her for prayer.
Positioning her for surrender.
Positioning her for a breakthrough that would not only bless her—but shift generations.
Because here’s the truth:
Lack is not just about what you don’t have—it’s about how you respond to what you don’t have.
Hannah didn’t let her pain push her away from God—she let it drive her into God.
While others misunderstood her, she stayed at the altar.
While her soul was bitter, her spirit stayed faithful.
While her situation didn’t change, her posture never did.
And that’s the question for you:
Will your lack make you retreat… or will it make you reach?
Reach deeper in prayer.
Reach higher in faith.
Reach stronger in trust.
Because if you let your soul lead, you may miss what God promised.
But if you let your spirit lead, you’ll stay aligned with what God is preparing.
Hannah didn’t just pray—she poured.
She didn’t just believe—she persisted.
She didn’t just receive—she released it back to God.
And that’s the real test of breakthrough:
Can you handle the blessing without making it an idol?
The job you prayed for…
The relationship you cried for…
The breakthrough you fasted for…
Will it draw you closer to God—or slowly pull you away?
Hannah shows us that true victory isn’t just in receiving the promise—it’s in remaining surrendered after the promise arrives.
So I’ll ask you like this:
Where are the Hannahs in this season?
The ones who won’t let lack shake their faith…
The ones who will pray through tears…
The ones who will stay when it’s hard…
The ones who believe, “If God did it before, He’ll do it again.”
Because if you stay at the altar long enough… what you thought was lack… will give birth to legacy.
