Fact vs Truth

What’s the difference between these two? Which one should we rely on when it comes to the details of our lives…the situations that we face on a daily basis? What exactly is fact? What exactly is truth? According to dictionary.com, a fact is “something that actually exists; reality; truth”. The actual definition of truth is “a verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like”.

Think about your life. Think about your past, present or even future issues. The fact of the matter is, we’ll always face hardships at some point or another. These hardships could be in our finances. These hardships could be in relationships. They could even be in our health and well being. Yes, these are the facts that we face on a daily basis, but I came to tell you about truth. It’s not about a what, but moreso about a who! Jesus Christ is the TRUTH that can make any fact null and void! He is the real deal! He is the “verified, indisputatable fact, the principle of all principles “ who can never lead us in a direction that would cause us to fail. Again, he IS the real deal!

Whatever it is that you’re going through…it’s a fact! Yes, there’s no denying that. But I want to tell you that the truth can set you free from whatever facts life tries to bring! The fact is…you got a bad diagnosis from the doctor, but the truth is that the blood of Jesus was shed so that you can have healing. The principle to be applied is FAITH. Do you have the faith to believe that truth can manifest itself in your life in such a way that brings healing to your body which can diminish ANY fact that the doctor released into your atmosphere??? Do you have the faith to believe that the fact that your marriage is a mess doesn’t negate the truth that God can bring healing and restoration to your relationship?? Do you have the faith to believe that even though the facts show that you are living check to check, God can cause you to live in the overflow if you don’t give up in the midst of this financial storm??? Do you really have the faith to believe that TRUTH can override any FACT that life can bring??? Do you???

Jesus Christ is the truth. Point blank and the period. When He said “it is finished”…….that’s exactly what he meant! Let Him come in and take care of any struggle, trial, or tribulation that you may be going through. He is your will when it seems like there’s no way! He can restore your marriage, your finances, your health, your mental well-being etc. There’s absolutely nothing too hard for him! Now, do you have the faith to believe that ,He (The TRUTH), has already overcome any FACT that you are facing today?? #Selah
