Trish M, CEO and President of Professional Translations Inc., started her company back in 2008. Professional Translations is a company that Trish M started from the ground up. She had no experience whatsoever on how to run a business. All she had was faith. All she knew was that God was taking her to a place that she had never experienced before!
Trish M double majored in Spanish and English. Upon graduating from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, she moved to Panama City, Florida where she taught Spanish 1-4 in the International Baccalaureate program for 8 years at Rutherford High School. She enjoyed what she was doing, but at the same time she knew that God was calling her to do more; hence, the birth of Professional Translations in 2008.
When Trish M started her company, she had very little money and resources. She started out translating into 3 languages with 3 people working. Within 1 year’s time, her company only brought in $125 for the ENTIRE year. She was deeply in the red!! Instead of giving up (which at different points in her life, her mind tried to make her do just that), she sought God for wisdom, knowledge and revelation on what her next move was. And boy did He do it! The following year, she ended up rebranding, restructuring and relaunching her company. She went from translating to and from 3 languages to over 175 languages! She went from making 3 figures to well over 6 figures just like that! She went from having 3 translators to over 1000 worldwide…..just like that! Her company is now one of the top translation companies in the world! In 2015, within 1 year of relocating to Alabama from Florida, her company was nominated as Business of the Year for Shelby County.
