A New Beginning
This year, many of you may have faced many challenges, especially within the last few months. Some may have been wondering when God was going to manifest his glory or change a situation that you may currently be in. Well on today, this first week of August, I’ve come to give you a prophetic release that I hope you will receive.
The end of July, the 7th month, marked completion of many things that were taking place in your life. The month of August, the 8th month of the year, represents a new beginning for you. No matter what you were going through before, God is shifting things in your favor in this month. I see the shifting in finances, health, ministries, jobs, relationships….get ready because God is about to manifest his glory in many ways! You just stay focused. Remember, the devil is doing his job. You just make sure to do yours. Stay faithful, focused, and determined to get all that God has for you. Don’t allow the enemy steal your joy….steal the vision or the plans that God has for you! If you didn’t go through anything, then God couldn’t manifest himself powerfully in your life. This is the month that you shall see the shift. Giving up is not an option. You hear me say that all the time. That’s because it’s true! Get ready for new beginnings in this 8th month!
Know this….. Eight is the number of Jesus, whose name in the Greek adds up to 888. Jesus showed himself alive EIGHT times after his resurrection from the dead. Meaning, after he went through one of the most drastic experiences of his life, God revived him and allowed his glory to be revealed through him, and in the midst of it all, he allowed others to see what he had done! His first appearance alive was to Mary Magdalene (Mark 16:9 – 11). He then showed himself to two disciples traveling to Emmaus (Luke 24). Next, he appeared to all the disciples except Thomas (John 20:19 – 24) then a week later to all them when Thomas was present (John 20:26 – 29). According to the apostle Paul, Christ also was seen by 500 believers at one time (1Corinthians 15:4 – 7). Jesus also met his disciples at the appointed place in Galilee (Matthew 28:16 – 17) and on Galilee’s shores (John 21:1 – 24). His final meeting was on the Mount of Olives, where he gave his followers instructions before ascending to heaven (Acts 1). He knew that he was all set for his new beginning after his 8th appearance.
God saved eight people on the ark in order to have a new beginning for mankind after the flood. Since the meaning of four is derived from God’s creation of everything, 8 (4 + 4) pictures the new creation after the flood. Know that God is about to create a new thing…do a new thing….so you need to expect a new thing! The flood had to come, but remember, the flood didn’t kill Noah or his family. God has you covered. He is preparing you for your new beginning. Expect it. #Selah
